After graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2012, Angie started at Potomac Canine, the precursor to UNIQUE Pest Management, as the first canine bed bug handler. As she successfully completed all the projects assigned to her in the fields of Business Development and Operations, she quickly moved up into management to eventually become Vice President of Operations. When the decision was made to form a new company with a different focus, Angie was excited at the opportunity to become President/Principle.
She is a certified pest control technician in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Washington DC and Virginia, as well as a registered technician in Massachusetts, in the fields of general pest, rodent, vertebrate, bird and right of way. Angie also holds an advanced certification in K9 Down, an emergency canine first aid program designed for law enforcement, military and working dog handlers, developed by the North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine.
Angie is team certified by the National Entomology Scent Detection Association for rat detection, mice detection and bed bug detection on multiple dogs. She is also a certified American Red Cross Canine First Aid Instructor.
